Just to let you all know that we've arrived safely in the villages. We made good time and arrived about 7pm, it was still light!

Arrival in Budapest
There was a lot of familiar scenes today with the usual early morning meet up at Heathrow (a 6.50am meet for those on the group flight!), the BA flight, the coach journey into Budapest and, for those of you who have been to Ukraine, the Tesco's stop! There's something incredibly special about this Mission and we are all so excited about heading into the villages tomorrow.
Spirits are high on the night before we head there. Our usual hotel, the Novotel, has been taken up by the swimmers at the world swimming championships - poor timing on their part! - so we are at a new hotel but still in the same area. We have just headed out for dinner and it's time to revisit old friendships as well as get to know those who are here for the first time. There are 27 of us from the UK and a further 38 from Hungary and Ukraine who will be translating for us. We will make quite a team! And again we look forward to working with the villagers and the church communities there.
As always we would really appreciate your prayers, please pray for a safe journey tomorrow into Ukraine and a smooth border crossing as it is always an unknown. Prayers also for good health for all the team and that all are kept in God's protection during the time in Ukraine. We give thanks that we will working in His name.
